BR 2-18: A SNAKE MISTAKE

I read the book yesterday. The Main character is Farmer Henry. He has many chickens but they don't lay eggs too much. So he learned for a book and decided to put fake eggs in their nests. He put light bulbs as fake eggs. Jake of snake also wants eggs so he went in chicken barn and swallowed two eggs.

Henry heard the chicken’s cry and went out of his house. Then, he looked at Jake and took him to an animal hospital. Two doctors operated him then he left the hospital after few days. Henry got a present from the doctor. He went back home and gave a party there. He opened the present and there were two light bulbs.

BR 2-17: ARTHUR'S READING RACE

I read the book today. Arthur learned to read in school so he reads everywhere. He thought that he reads a book for his sister D.W., but she said she has known how to read. Then, he had a good idea. If she can read ten words, he will treat ice cream for her. They went outside and various places. D.W. knew many words and sometimes reminded Arthur. She read only eight words when they came near their house. But she read ice cream, hot dog so Arthur treated ice cream for her. I read many Arthur’s series in second semester. I think they really attach to each other.

BR 2-16: Ben Fox Saves the Day

Ben went to a shop to buy oranges. These were outside of the shop so when he went outside, a woman shouted “Stop him”. She was robbed her bag by a boy and he was running away. Ben decided to chase the boy and take back the bag. Then, he found that he had his bag with oranges, but he didn’t have time to stop. The boy went in a park so he also ran there. He looked at his oranges and had an idea. He rolled oranges to the boy. He slipped and fell on his behind. Ben could take back the bag. He came back the shop and gave it back to the woman. He got a box of oranges from her in appreciation. He is brave and clever!

BR 2-15: Wait and See

This is story of twin brothers. My younger brother is twin so it was interesting story for me. Their name is Adam and Zak. They are out of the same mold so their friends often mistake. Zak decided that he dye his blond hair red to tell the difference between Adam and he. He met his sister Abby first after he dyed. She burst out laughing, but he didn’t know why she laughed. Next, he met his mother but she was very surprised. His father also was surprised. He couldn’t understand why everyone was surprised.

He came in the dining room for dinner time and stared at Adam. Then, he also dyed his hair red! All family members laughed. Abby suggested that if one of you back to blond, we can tell the difference. They both wanted to back to blond so their father decided to flip a coin. As a result, Adam won. He was dyed by Abby. Then, they weren’t called by their name and Adam was called ‘Blondie’, Zak was called ‘Spike’. My younger brother was identical twins so they are quite similar to one another. They go to same high school and get on like a house afire. I want to introduce this story to them.

BR2-14: MAKING HEADLINES

I read the book today. Magee was told to help making next school newspaper from his teacher. He should make it with Tilly. She is editor and reporter, so she is good at everything. She asked him about content of the newspaper, but he didn’t know because he never read it. Then, they saw that Brad brought something from school office. He was sneaking, took his bicycle and left hastily. Magee suggested inserting the occurrence in the paper.

Tilly ran in a newspaper room when he thought headlines on Friday afternoon. She said to him that she saw Brad around the corner of the library. They had a camera and went there. Brad pushed his jacket into the hedge when they stepped outside so he took shot. They looked in the hedge after he left, and there were Brad’s jacket and two notebook computers. When Brad came for them after the dark, Magee took shot. Then, teacher and two police got out and caught him. Next Monday, he was told good headline from his teacher, but it wasn’t his headline.

BR 2-13: Bruno's Tea

I read the book yesterday. Chen delivered tea as his father’s helper after school. He often went to deliver Mr. Green’s house by a bicycle. He always wondered at it that he drink much tea. One day, Chen found that there wasn’t Mr. Green’s dog Bruno in front of his house as usual when he went there. He knocked on the front door and called his name but nobody answered. He knew that he must not get in his house but he got in there because he worried him. Mr. Green wasn’t there so he went to his garage. He heard Bruno was crying and saw Mr. Green’s legs. He stumbled when he worked and injured his knee. Chen helped him and called his sister to get a doctor.

After that, Chen got big consideration and sales went up. He could know why Mr. Green drank much tea. He gave the tea to Bruno, too. Bruno likes it very much. Then, His father want him to go to university, but he want to be a mechanic. So he said to his father fairly. Then, he said “I’ll do everything I can to help”. Chen was relieved and hugged his father. I think good parent and child.

Tomorrow is coming of age ceremony!

I got up early and went to Tsuruya with my parents. I left them when we arrived there and went in front of PARCO. I met Hitomi and went to TSUTAYA to buy a hairstyle magazine because we didn’t decide our hairstyle in coming of age ceremony. I said to her “I want to set cute hair style. How about you?” She said, “I want to plait my hair.” I said “Oh! Really? I want to plait my hair, too.” We read a lot of magazines because there were many various hair catalogs. We bought a magazine because we will have our hair set at same beauty salon. After that, we went to an accessory shop and Hitomi bought a pierced earring. She bought it only 300 yen because the accessory shop was having a half price sale. Then, we went to Donkihote and I bought made fingernail and eyelash. I will put on the coming of age ceremony. Then, we went to Italian Tomato to have lunch. She ate pasta and I ate a hot dog while we pored the magazine. Hitomi and I decided our hairstyle. Then, we went shopping a little. I found my favorite pants but I couldn’t buy because I didn’t have money too much. Then, she went to a beauty salon.

I called my mother “Where are you now?” she said, “We are in Okada coffee on Kamitori” so I went there. My parents talked very nicely with each other so I thought that they were having a date. I might interrupted. I ordered a cup of coffee and a strawberry tart. We could put fresh cream in coffee. It was delicious. I want to go Okada coffee in Tsuruya next time because my friend work there. Then, we went to New-s and my father bought a bag and a bath additive. I could buy a check shirt only 1700 yen! We went back home by car, I took my younger brothers to calm school and went to Hikari’s house to bring a print. I talked her about coming of age ceremony and alumni association of junior high school. I used the bath additive and it was good smell. Today’s dinner was curry rice!
